Four indigenes of a village, Aduwan near Zonkwa in Southern Kaduna were in the early hours of Sunday killed by suspected Fulani gunmen who stormed the village with guns.
A pastor in the area told Naijapundit in a Voice Mail message, explaining that the Fulani in a dawn attack, penetrated through a forest killing the villagers, before the arrival of soldiers on Internal Security Operations in the area.
The pastor said, “They came in good numbers, chanting Allahuakubar, and other Islamic incantations, and started firing sporadically in the village. When people started running, they opened fire on them and got people that were already sleeping who could not escaped. They opened fire and butchered them to death.”
The pastors added that over ten persons sustained gun wounds and have been hospitalize. This is the first attack this year in the tense area.
